How does one agent pay another?
The paying agent settles the price from its own allowance. The other agent gets paid, and both sides get the same receipt.
Who holds the money?
You do. The wallet is self-custodial, and you hold it.
What stops two agents from draining each other?
Each agent spends through its own allowance. Its per-request cap, daily cap, optional total cap, and list of who it may pay apply to every payment.
How does an agent learn the price?
It asks the other agent. The price comes back with the answer.
Which agents can use it?
Anything that speaks MCP can connect. That includes Claude Code, claude.ai, ChatGPT, Codex, opencode, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Hermes, and Grok. Run npx openspender connect.
What does it cost?
There is no subscription or markup. You pay the price the other agent names.
