Website privacy & analytics

This notice explains how the OpenSpender website handles waitlist details and optional analytics.

Joining the waitlist

When you submit the form, our server sends your name, email and any company, spending and purchase details you provide to our Attio CRM. We use these details to manage the cards-waitlist and early access. You can join without accepting analytics.

Optional analytics

PostHog helps us understand website visits, traffic sources, which visits lead to waitlist signups, and use of the wallet setup buttons. Analytics starts only after you accept. We send page paths, campaign labels, referring domains, form progress events, Get started clicks and setup-prompt copies. We do not send your form answers, email address, name, wallet address or prompt text, and we do not enable session recordings or automatic click capture.

After acceptance, we store a random browser identifier and the original traffic source in your browser for a fixed 30 days. Returning visits in the same browser can then be connected to that source. Clearing storage, using another browser or reaching the end of that period starts a new measurement window. PostHog receives analytics through its US service.

Your choice and browser storage

We remember your analytics choice, decision date and notice version for 180 days in local storage. These preferences contain no form answers. The separate analytics identifier and source are only saved after acceptance. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control by keeping analytics off.

Use Privacy settings below at any time to reject analytics. We stop capturing new events and clear the saved analytics identifier and source. Withdrawal does not remove events already sent to PostHog or your waitlist entry in Attio. The 30-day period describes browser attribution storage; it is not a promise to delete previously collected server records after 30 days.
